Courvoisier x Foursquare Competition

It was not to long ago that people were saying that staying in was the new going out, then summer came along and quickly we were all back outside again. Could we not somehow find the best of both worlds for those of us for those of us who just like hanging with our mates, indoors, outdoors, up in the air or boozying it up in deserted and secret spaces.

Hopefully the Courviosier Summer punch campaign should get you mobile, they've teamed up with Foursquare to bring you the chance to win exclusive Punch Kits containing everything needed to recreate the punch experience with friends at home, as well as a grand prize of a VIP weekend for two at the Courvoisier Château in Jarnac, France. Mega Plush for those with expensive tastes.

All you've got to do is hit the one of the bars listed below, ‘Check-In’ to the venue via Foursquare and then send in a photo of yourself with a Courvoisier Punchbowl via Facebook or Twitter at http://www.facebook.com/courvoisieruk http://www.twitter.com/CourvoisierUK hash tag #summerofpunch. Best picture every night wins One Punch Kit.

The Hills Ends and even if their fake Quarter Life Crisis is real!!!!

So many people before Sunday evening had already watched the final ever episode of the Hills, I however have really strict rules about my american tv shows, which go as follows Rule number one, I don't care where I can stream it online, if it has a weekly slot, move from that I will not, rule number two I end all potential spoiler conversations within the first 5 seconds of them beginning!!!! Rule number 3 if I've been with you for two seasons I'll be with you to the end, which is exactly what happen with me and Hills spurned on Laguna Beach and will continue to be the case with the city.

I know many people think these shows are stupid but I don't care, I loved watching Kristin being a bitch and learnt important lessons from her being a friend with benefits, with a total douche bag, ummmmm it's not a good idea save your vjay jay the heartache unless you definitely know how to keep them seperate! Other lessons include money can't buy you happiness but it can make you look pretty, as long as you don't take it too far like heidi.

Most important lesson by the end of the last season had to be, ummmmm the Hills isn't real life but also everybody even those living on beaches in Miami suffer from 'QUARTER LIFE CRISIS!!!'

What is a quarter life crisis you say, well I think it's this. You hit post 25 your out of high school uni, you've probably been in your first proffession for a couple of years or moving towards it, and all of a sudden you realise, that clubbing all the time isn't as fun as it used to be, every decision your making your making as a fully fledged adult so have noone to blame for mistakes apart from yourself. You will definitely not be marrying any of the douche bags you've been kicking it with for the past couple of years, and your definitely not going to be as famous as you thought you were, your simply going to be a normal person.

Suddenly things like just going for a coffee with your friend seems really interesting, and Gardening and flowers are some unknown appeal you didn't realise before. And you keep thinking about entering come dine with me, just to see if that last recipe you were tasting out would win over hearts and souls. Or in the case of the Hills you want to move to another country to run away from ex-boyfriends and find yourself. Either way it's Quarter life crisis syndrome and it's happening everywhere.

Lets be honest we all knew this day would come

Hey world, I know what your thinking............. oh no she didn't....... start her own blog, when I'm sure I see more than enough of Bosola all over my facebook newsfeed, messages about Plain Janes in my event and inbox on facebook, some random pictures of her being tagged at various nights out and random status updates that don't really make sense to me appearing on my screen quite regularly already. Apologies as I must be frank but ohhh yes I did! I've started my own blog.

I think it makes sense for me to for the following reasons, I get loads of stuff sent to me, that I can't include on the plain janes blog without compromising it, as it's not arts related or culture based, but sometimes I would still just love to post up, secondly sometimes all I want to talk about is music, I need a place I can do that which might inlcude more than a youtube video, thirdlt I've given up a notion of privacy on the internet long ago and finally I do a lot this is a good way for me to keep track of it too.

If you can stand my indosyncrocies then feel free to follow me here and everywhere else I may drop a thought or opinion online I promise to share with you my loves my loathes, and mini normal life adventures in London City. Then come check out my blog once in a while.
